Dear Erasmi,
Join us for a stunning spring cruise and hike around Lake Brienz! We'll head from Bern to Interlaken by train, then cruise the crystal-clear blue waters of the lake by boat — one of the most scenic rides in Switzerland. We’ll visit Brienz and stroll down the charming Brunngasse (a UNESCO World Heritage site), then begin our hike past the breathtaking Giessbachfälle waterfalls, where you can even walk underneath the waterfalls!
Our final destination is the fairytale village of Iseltwald, where we’ll hop back on the boat for our return to Interlaken. There, we’ll wrap up the day with a visit to the Alpine Wildpark to spot iconic Swiss animals like marmots and ibex, before taking the train back to Bern.
Total hike: ~10km easy hike around the lake with some slight elevation — please make sure you're comfortable with that!

Important Info: Please dress comfortably, wear good walking shoes for the hike and bring a raincoat/umbrella just in case.

Participation in the ESN Bern program takes place at your own risk. The university and ESN Bern accept no liability for accidents that occur during ESN Bern activities. Adequate insurance cover is the responsibility of the participants. You agree to allow ESN Bern to publish, copyright, and use pictures of yourself in print and electronic formats such as social media channels, publications, videos, and websites. You understand that you will not receive payment or other compensation for that. If you do not wish your pictures to be taken or published by ESN Bern - it is your responsibility to opt out and consequently inform the responsible event organisers before the event starts. Participating to the ESN Bern events you agree to behave accordingly to the ESN Switzerland Code of Conduct.
Refund policy:
Please understand that ESN Bern cannot issue refunds on any tickets sold due to multiple reasons. You are allowed to resell the ticket to fellow students / ESN members (with the same train reductions).
Also note that the illness insurance is provided by Eventfrog and ESN has nothing to do with it.
