Electroacoustic Cabaret

Yearly trans-linguistic exchange programme for sound artists in Switzerland since 2022

In various venues of different linguistic regions, with artists from all over Switzerland, we organize a series of polymorphic performances that allow the possibility of experimenting with new sounds and new spaces. As in a cabaret, the public attends a series of proposals, merging genres and sensitivities, with sound poetry as the only common thread.

Phonorescence: When images become audible and sounds begin to glow

With their self-made instruments, the Egger brothers merge image and sound into a unique signal stream. Live images from old video cameras are fed back via television, begin to modulate each other and generate audible frequencies.

Daniel Maszkowicz is a power electronics research engineer, and multidisciplinary sound artist. He develops and implements devices for manipulating electrical signals and electromagnetic fields with a variety of unusual analogue feedback and sensors.

Premiere: RöstiBrücke creative residency

Swiss sound artist and musician Simon Grab (*1971), co-founder of ganzerplatz soundstudios (since 1996), has been an active musician and producer in a wide range of musical contexts, though staying addicted to dub and noise, with an everlasting punk attitude.

Geneva based experimental musician, Chort aims at deconstructing current technologies to create synthesizers that correspond to the early age of electronic music. He puts together various electronic equipment to feed his composition with sound experiments.
