Mono Scene
One location. Two improvisers. No character changes, no time jumps, no location changes. Just two people in real time. With restrictions that resemble a classic one-act play, Mono Scene puts the theatre back into improvised theatre. It's all about dynamic relationships, revealing backstories and character growth. This workshop will go over best practices for approaching the format, and give participants the opportunity to dip their toes into a different style of improvising.

He worked with improv institution, Rapid Fire Theatre, and eventually became the Artistic Director there for several years by the late 2000s. In 2010 he moved to Atlanta to take the Artistic Director job at Dad’s Garage Theatre, a position he held for exactly a decade, during which time he oversaw the development and production of over thirty original comedic plays as well as countless improv formats and comedy events.
