Join us for a transformative workshop with Ryder Delaloye and Marius Luca from Emory University, Atlanta, USA. This unique event offers an introduction to CBCT (Cognitively-Based Compassion Training) and SEE Learning, focusing on nurturing compassion as a core skill for inner development.

Participants will engage in research-backed practices that align with the Inner Development Goals (IDGs), exploring both the science and application of compassion and well-being. Through practical exercises and insights, educators will gain tools to enhance resilience and compassion, benefiting both their personal and professional lives. This hands-on session promises to equip you with actionable strategies to foster a compassionate and supportive learning environment.

What is the Compassion Shift?

The Compassion Shift is an initiative from Emory University’s Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-based Ethics. It aims to advance a global culture of compassion through two educational programs – CBCT® (Cognitively-based Compassion Training) for adults and SEE Learning® (Social, Emotional, and Ethical Learning) for children. These programs help cultivate the skills contained within the Inner Development Goals (IDGs).

  • Explore the Linkages Between IDGs and Compassion Training: Gain insights on how these programs align with and support the Inner Development Goals.

  • Experience CBCT Practices: Engage in hands-on activities and practices from the most researched compassion training programs.

  • Cultivate Skills for Professional and Personal Growth: Learn practices to enhance inner development, resilience, and compassion.
