Das Orchester Malters lädt zum Sinfoniekonzert ein. Gespielt werden Werke von Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy ("Die Hebriden" Ouvertüre), Sergei Koussevitzky (Kontrabasskonzert fis-moll) und Franz Schubert (Sinfonie Nr. 3 D-Dur). Als Solistin ist die junge Kontrabassistin Wiktoria Czyżewska zu hören.
