Do you know which marine species are immortal? Where do green tides come from? What's the difference between longline fishing and trawling? How much of the transport of goods is by sea?
Come and discover the "Ocean Collage", a fun and collaborative workshop to gain a better overall understanding of the ocean's challenges, both in terms of threats and opportunities, and with the key to individual and collective action!
Its fascinating biodiversity, its essential role in the climate machine, the extent of its many resources, but also the impacts of our daily activities and gestures will no longer hold any secrets for you. As a resident of Switzerland, you may be stunned to find out how much of our materials and nutrients are sourced from the sea which does not even reach our borders.
Created by Alice Vitoux and inspired by the Climate Fresk, this workshop is open to everyone and will plunge you into a collective underwater exploration.
To find out more, visit the Ocean Collage website. This is a rare opportunity in person and in English!
This workshop is organized by One Planet Friends. It will be facilitated by Julia Bodin, a trained facilitator volunteering for this event. A ticket price is requested to contribute to room costs, the train ticket for the facilitator and the licence fee for the workshop.
